Nomex®410 aramid paper is mainly used as a dielectric insulator for high temperature systems. Nomex® 410 is one of the most widely used calendered papers and offers high intrinsic dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility and elasticity.

Available in 11 thicknesses ranging from 0.05 mm to 0.76 mm (2 mil to 30 mil), Nomex® 410 is used in all known electrical insulation applications.

A Nomex® aramid paper based insulation system has been proven to last over 20,000 hours at 220°C!

In addition to Nomex® 410 in coils, there are also types in pressed panels with different densities (low, medium and high) such as Nomex® 992 in 2 thicknesses (1.6 and 3.2 mm), Nomex® 993 in 6 thicknesses ( from 1.0 to 4.0 mm) and Nomex® 994 available in 12 thicknesses (from 1.0 to 9.6 mm).
