KTY is a semiconductor soldered onto PTFE leads and insulated with a heat shrinkable Kynar cap.
KTYs increase resistance as the temperature increases and are usually connected to a PLC to manage the desired functions. They are highly reliable, precise and stable over time and quick to intervene. Upon request, it is possible to make KTYs with different lengths and colors of the cables than the standard. It is also possible to supply them in special executions with a threaded brass housing.
The KTYs have an operating temperature between -50°C and +150°C.
